I understand not wanting to embarrass your opponent or being a bad sport, but when you're getting beat by 50 points, there is just no way you can argue your not getting embarrassed already.

The Miami Dolphins shattered, not broke, absolutely shattered two franchise records in one night and were 10 offensive yards and 3 points short of breaking those same records for the entire League. Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa dropped 30pt fantasy nights, Raheem Mostert did 45, and the backup RB, De'von Achane, dropped 51 points in fantasy. That's un-fucking-heard of for a backup while his starter is literally still in the game, he's up in the top 50 with names like Gale Sayers, Jerry Rice, LaDanian Tomlinson, Tyreek Hill, and Ja'Marr Chase for most PPR fantasy points in a game.

Oh, and the Dolphins didn't even have Jaylen Waddle that night.

I understand wanting to be a good sport. I understand not wanting to embarrass your opponent. I would have been much more receptive of it if the decision was made to avoid the possibility of getting players hurt, but if that's the case, why were the starters still on the field late in the night? But you can't tell me they didn't embarrass the Broncos anyway.

The Broncos should be embarrassed. Their defense let up over 7 whole football fields of offense. They got a train run on them. If they hadn't had a kickoff return TD, their D/ST would've had a -12pt game, and they'd be only the fifth D/ST ever to do it.

They should be embarrassed. But you know what would be even more engaging than being the guy those two records got made on? Watching your opponent take a knee because they pity you so much they don't want to hurt your feelings.

Imagine being the jets arguably the worst franchise ever, thinking it’s the QBs fault for their franchises’ demise….they go ahead and draft another Qb which they probably shouldn’t have because they aren’t ready for one…terrible franchises make terrible choices
