While shopping at my local HEB I was walking down one of the aisles and a mom with her three or four year old child was coming in the opposite direction. The child is being demanding wanting something from inside the cart so he could open it up.
She said no and he threw a fit. So she handed it to him. As she got closer to my cart she opened up one of the freezers and started to pull out the veggies and other things that were necessary for a decent meal. The little boy reached over and grabbed some ice cream treats
She went to put the ice cream treats back but he threw such a gargantuan fit. Screaming at the top of his lungs. She saw me staring, I guess she was embarrassed so she started to give them back to him.
But just as his little paws got a hold I said "please don't do that for my benefit. I won't be the least upset if he didn't get them. A little bit of crying never hurt anybody"
She smiled broadly and returned the treats to their original resting place
You have to say no sometimes or you will have a lifetime of Trump's getting worse with every generation.
We need to stop this now and ignore all the "MY FREEDOM" "MY RIGHTS" bellyaching and just do what needs to be done

Well after the way we handled the insurrection and still allow lawmakers to hold office who supported our insurrection they have the proof that nothing serious will happen for any of these types of behaviors.
