How to Sharpen a Carpenter's Pencil FAST

I saw this cool little trick on Finish Carpentry TV, the youtube channel. It's a super fast way to sharpen a Carpenter's pencil.
We also hit a road block in the home extension project. More on that extension tomorrow!

Sharpening a carpenters pencil that way defeats the whole purpose of the actual design . The lead is meant to be flat but sharpened to a bevelled edge both sides making it hold a fine edge far longer than a " cone " type point .

Hence the reason for the flat led and casing design I think it's a bit self explanatory really .
