RIFT - Pre-Order Trailer

Scheduled to launch in North America on March 1st and in Europe on March 4th. Today also marks the start of the game's pre-order program through both digital and retail channels.

I have 3 max lvl WoW accounts, but when i played rift, i loved it better than WoW from like the first rift battle. Of course, this is just my opinion, rift is a great game, i might go back to WoW... in a couple of years rofl

@SindiFur totally agree. A friend bought rift recently and even though i haven't played it thoroughly i found out that except the wow (and let me add warhammer) copied staff, the game itself had some great content as well as some major flaws. However, going with the slogan "We are not in Azeroth anymore" just completely destroyed the game.

@SindiFur i know your comment is 2months old.... but i just want to day rift is wining as of right now.... un like blizz there adding stuff people who play wow wanted for a long time like Free toon transfers, more class combinations, and from what i see there really looking in to what there players want i mean people really wanted a free trial and it only took them 2 months after the game come out

@Spartan356 In a debate on what's actually more fun it's just preferential. It's as the reviews say: It's polished and fun, but it doesn't bring anything new to the MMO world. Anything Rift is doing, WoW has already done or improved on (soul tree = talent tree, rifts = mega beefed elemental or scourge invasions from vanilla days).

That's not just my opinion, that's what the reviewers are saying. I won't troll on Rift, it's a great game when not compared to anything else.

@KoraxSP WoW is old but it set the standard for ALL MMO's. A very, very high standard. I wouldn't get your hopes up for this one trumping WoW. Aion was supposed to bet he one that beat em out, but it was a huge disappointment to many when it didn't. Still a great game though =3 In any case, I cant' wait to try Rift too.

Just curious, why did you not like the play on Wizard of Oz? I think it makes a really good statement.

@Spartan356 No one should hate on WoW though, because since they set the standard so high, companies will work harder and harder for a game that'll raise those standards even more and make a game to even surpass WoW. To make a product that's better, they have to look at the competition, and play off their strengths or weakness and improve on them. WoW is stale, but it has a new use by being a model for future game prodigies.

Awesome trailer! I love "We're not in Azeroth anymore!" The great part is that the company behind this is one of the first I can honestly say are in a perfect position to call out their competition. The server-side software is amazing. The game is in the most stable, polished, fun state I've ever seen for such an early time in a game's life. The developers are quick to respond to the community, but don't cave to the whiners immediately. They tend to do what is best for the game, so far. Awesome

@mostazadinho nope it not 12million any more there back to 11... they lost about 500, 000 players in cata.. its just the same old same old you play, get up to level cap, get the good gear... then sit and wait 4 more... and lission to what other say on how you should play your toon.. Un like rift where you can class your toon how ever you want

@mostazadinho Oh one more thing... that 12million Subscription mark your talking about is how many player accounts they have... not active players i was wrong in my last post about the 11mill.... they only have about 600k people playing right be leave me look a TotalHalibu new video at 9:40 he saids the count...
