And on the same 'Bandstand' show he also performed "Run Samson Run", earlier in 1960 on October 17th it had peaked at #28 {for 1 week}...
Between 1959 and 1980 he had thirty records on the Top 100 chart, nine* made the Top 10 with three reaching #1; "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" for 2 weeks in 1962, "Laughter in the Rain" for 1 week in 1975, and "Bad Blood" for 3 weeks in 1975...

Ever since the movie, this song will only ever have the scene playing in my brain when I listen to it, so my mom has seen me blush from this song and she knows why and she laughs every time, I was born in 2007 so I was 9 when this movie came out, and I watched it, oh how I love that memory, the day I realized that I had a weird attraction to marvel characters 😅
