Ingredients:
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
2 tsp of garlic powder
1 1/2 tbsp of onion powder
1/4 cup of Worcestershire Sauce
1 egg (optional, for binding) or CHIA SEED PUDDING (for binding)
Salt and pepper to taste (Optional)
Olive or Avocado oil for cooking
Instructions:
Step 1: Bake beans @ 450 degrees F for 20 min
Step 2: In a large bowl, combine black beans, onion, mushrooms, garlic powder, and egg (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Form Patties
Step 4: Place Patties in the fridge for 1 hour
Cook: Heat olive OR Avocado oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown is cooked through.
Serve on buns with your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado (optional), and condiments.
