I absolutely agree with him about the color of the pedal having an effect on the way it sounds. The Boss Super Chorus has a great color and it sounds great so yes it is true.

Most of Steve's pedal collection is as esoteric and interesting as his playing. Cool to see him list such "standards", though. The mark of a true master.
