People will NEVER fail to disappoint. I had a close friend who I thought had love and respect for me as I had for her. Then she treated me like 💩. We have parted the waves obviously because I have self respect and self worth n refuse to be treated like that. It’s sad especially as I haven’t done anything wrong. Hold your head up high and walk away. They will deeply regret their actions. Yes forgive them but choose not to hang out with them again. They don’t deserve you…….from an 85 year old.

I can’t even anymore with this type of person in my life, I hope they realize that when I say goodbye it means I don’t ever want to see them, talk to them again or anything 😢 they went too far and now I know exactly what they think of me and turned everything into something about them, extremely dismissive of everything I say, do and how I feel.

My daughter wants nothing to do with me. We did far too much for her. When we said “no more” we lost all value to her. Oh well - no, it wasn’t easy - but I can’t finally say I’m done with her. When people only “love you” when you’re doing for them - that is simply not love!

Every line true. I had to have my beloved 14-year old doggie euthanized Monday. Called family and closest friends, had wonderful, supportive talks with all. I am grief-stricken, and have never been so sad in all my life. My older sister called yesterday morning. Since then--nothing. Will not wallow in self-pity, but am surprised and disappointed that no one else has called to check how I am. Waiting is a waste of time, but I am a bit wiser now, and will not badger anyone.

I let the love of my life slip away due to the England Elite!
We met, it was instant.
We were both volunteers for a Princes Trust type organisation, which going into the outdoors for 3 days.
Whilst on the Welsh mountains we shared a tent and exchanged life stories. I remember being in our tent and my heart was beating 140+ and she felt it.
Later on she said if I got her pregnant her Dad would insist we marry.
As I already had a daughter this thought scared the life out of me. She married an Elite whom she never loved and treated her like 💩.
I’ve never had the same feelings for another Woman since 🤷🏻‍♂️❤️
