Dover declare 'critical incident' over huge traffic queues

The Port of Dover has declared a "critical incident" due to huge traffic queues affecting holidaymakers.

The seaport's boss, Doug Bannister, said they have been "badly let down" by "woefully inadequate" and "insufficiently resourced" French border controls in Dover.

For over 40 years the country enjoyed and had taken for granted hassle free ports and airports a benefit of being in the EU. We not longer have that benefit and non EU members rules now apply causing delays because of the checks now required. This isn't going to improve. Another brexit mess.
