This was the favorite Tweezer of comedian Harris Wittels (writer on Parks and Rec and Master of None), who died last year. Here's how he described this jam in an article for Relix:

"play a killer “Tweezer” with a thick, gooey funk jam (and if you don’t like “Tweezer, ” you are a piece of human garbage). I would recommend perhaps 6/24/00. Fish maintains such a delicious funk beat in this song for the whole time that I am convinced he is a robot every time I hear it. But then, I see photos of that show where he got naked and ran around the stage and am reminded he is a man—either that or the engineers who created him make incredibly accurate human penises."

Thick, gooey funk jam indeed. You'll be missed, Harris.

Damn these boys were so good in this era. 99 and 00 are very underrated imo.

My wife and I did this two-night run, this show was TOPS. We've maintained since that Mike was "Thumpasaurus Rex" on this Tweezer, undeniably the dopest Mike bass jamz in any Tweezer we've seen. The sound quality on this version here is amazing btw I know of no better sounding copy of this show...

Totally sick grooves in the jam. This is Phish at their best. Certainly one of my favorites and best I've ever heard. I really miss those days.

Around the corner from Lakewood park there was a store called Run and Shoot and it had a logo of a stick figure in motion as well as badly drawn rifles. No joke

I'm only about 7 minutes in but it reminds me of Alpine 98. Which was the best Tweezer I saw
