I just purchased one of these jewels at a sale for $15.00 and it looks to be brand new. I am such a visual learner and this is by far one of the best tutorial videos that I have ever come across. Direct and to the point. Thank you so much!❤

Love the suggestion to use bias tape maker tips you can buy online to supplement the tip that comes with the Simplicity Bias Tape Machine. I just got the Bias Tape Maker machine, and the Simplicity tips available for it are ridiculously expensive.. But the work-around in this video, using the inexpensive bias tape maker tips available are a good alternative. One extra suggestion if you don't want to remove the metal ring and file down the plastic insert on them is to just turn them over, so the plastic insert is facing upward and so is the folded side of the bias tape. The tip will lay flat with no alteration if it's taped down or Scotch double sided tape is put underneath. The heating elements inside the creasing part of the machine irons both sides, and the rollers roll both sides regardless of which side of the bias tape is facing up, so the result is as good as using the original tip(s)--I tried both. What a great video, though-it opens up more possibilities without spending a fortune on tips.

I have one that I bought several years ago and only used it recently and loved it. I typically use my serger with the bias binder feet. For people that do very long bias strips there is a simplicity "the winder" that works along with the bias tape machine. What it does is re-wind the bias strips onto spindles

Bought a new one from Spotty today using the voucher and it’s a half price day . All up $70. Comes with 5 tips. Thanks for the great no nonsense video.

Fabulous tutorial. Thank you for showing this, i have wondered if it's worth it. I do mostly 2.5" tape so I will look for the proper foot. Thanks for the tip in using different tape pieces. Priceless...

Thanks for the detailed video. I got one from Market place. Brand new! $20. Mine has two ironing cover pieces but only 2 sizes of heads. 4/32 and 1inch. I have a thingy for adding piping too. More research needed I think. I like the idea of using my manual heads and a little fiddling with hubby and adding tape!

I just sent for one of them and thank you for a great video for the adaptation. Can't believe how expensive the separate tips are. I'll report back when I've used it!

Love your video and how you made your own different sizes. I have a machine but have not used it yet as I misplaced the instructions. Yours were great. God bless!

Omg, what a find!! Have just started using bias binding and trying to make my own has me frustrated (being 69 y.o. is probably the reason there). Such a great little machine. Thanks!

Great video, thank you very much. Just an observation for the future - please lose the music! It’s incredibly annoying and distracting 😊
