the one thing that made me understand how to do a british accent was a british friend i had telling me americans move their jaw way too much lmao, and it clicked british accents require a relaxed jaw and the american accent is naturally very sharp so it's hard for us to even adjust the shape our mouths make when talking unless we consciously know that's what's wrong
