Nothing against what this guy said in particular, but I cannot stand it when guys refer to overseas made guitars as "low end". Mark's SE model is $899. That's not low end. At all. Low end is definitely somewhere between $200 and $400. Many people who have tried the Holcomb SE say that it feels like its worth a lot more than $899. I feel like calling a guitar like this "low end" just doesn't make sense.

Your review convinced me to get one of these, and i've already had the nut replaced, schaller locking tuners put on it and fiddled with some knobs and tuner buttons and now it's probably the best playing guitar I own. Bravo

Bought one - I love it. I did change out the nut and put some hipshot locking tuners on and I installed the Seymour Duncan Invaders on the bridge! OH MY GOD!! Its is GOD LIKE with the tones I get out of this wonderful guitar

Put it up against a Jericho Elite. Same price range, meant for the same type of music. If you want higher end, check out a Jericho edge premium. I own both and god damn is it great. Also a great company and owner.

Thanks for the info on the nut. I actually had the same problem on my custom se and didn't realize it. Currently trying to figure out how to switch it out.

I just got this guitar and had exactly the same opinion. The only thing I could find at all wrong was the nut. It is by far the most fun I have ever had with a instrument tho. All my other guitars may end up rusting now.
