Kangana Ranaut Won First National Award for Fashion (2008)

Kangana Ranaut won her first ever National Film Award for her performance in the film fashion. She won the Best Supporting Actress Award also called the Rajat Kamal Award.

Kangana was awarded at the 56th National Award Ceremony in Delhi on March 19, 2010. Former President Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil honored Kangana with her first National Award. ♥️

About Fashion - 

Fashion is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed and co-produced by Madhur Bhandarkar starring Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Mugdha Godse in lead roles. The  principal photography occurred in Mumbai and Chandigarh.  

The film received highly positive reviews. Critics praised its screenplay, cinematography, music, direction and performances of lead actresses. Kangana Ranaut unanimous widespread critical acclaim for her portrayal of Shonali Gujral.

The film collected ₹60 crore at the box-office and was commercially successful. Fashion received several awards and nominations at ceremonies across India. Kangana Ranaut won her third Filmfare Award for Fashion.
