Several minutes after launch the side boosters touched down safely back at SpaceX's landing zones at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The core booster was not recovered to maximize fuel availability.

This has become such a regular and consistent event that it's easy to forget just how remarkable it really is. I'm mesmerized every time.

No matter how many times I watch Falcon heavy flights I am blown away every time

The engineering behind this is truly incredible

It was a beautiful launch. I was near downtown Melbourne Florida when I saw the initial plume. The sky seemed totally cloudless. Was able to continue to watch with my naked eyes for many minutes as the rocket went through its stages. I have never been able to see the stage release nor boosters released through my naked eyes.

Just an incredible experience for me today.

It's amazing to think how we went from watching the Apollo launches on the old televisions from the 60s to watching the Space X launches here on YouTube. Technology has improved so much, it's almost mind blowing

I'm 80 yrs old, and have watched just about all the entire space launches. from the early 1960's till now and these landings still blow my mind. the accuracy is phenomenal!. As an American I feel a sense of pride, even though I had nothing to do with this. just a big fan. and patriot. ECF

I really enjoy watching these videos. The space program is amazing. I worked Saturn 501 and Apollo 8 in the 60's. This stuff never gets old for me.🙂🙂

This launch was the best till date. The view was insane! And the live broadcast of the camera view from the boosters were a cherry on the top

We could see the launch from Davie, FL. Perfectly cloudless day. We even could see the entry burns of the two side boosters. Just incredible.

Simply amazing, no matter how many times I watch a rocket launch I can't look away. Maybe it's the explorer DNA we have and wonder what it would be like to ride that to space. But recovering the side boosters is even as impressive. Go SpaceX.

I've watched every Mercury, Gemini and Apollo mission launches and landing those boosters standing up is truly amazing.
We've come a long way baby!

So cool! I just hated how they cut to the single booster landing at touchdown and we could not see the WIDE shot of BOTH touching down! That is the coolest when we can see that and hopefully they will release that video this week!

The rate of acceleration still blows my mind everytime I watch a launch. Incredible that astronauts are able survive such forces (yes I know this one was unmanned)

Those rockets coming down to land is possibly the most visually stunning engineering feat of the 21st century.

It looks effortless now. They’ve done such a stellar job at perfecting this rocket system and I can only imagine how much money these new Falcon Heavies save just by being landed, scrubbed, and refueled for consecutive flights.

It used to be that the only time you saw rockets landing vertically was in James Bond movie or science fiction movies. SpaceX has made it not only real but routine. Bravo to free thinking out of the box and taking the risk to try it. The launch game has entered a new era leaving old style, expensive, launching in the dust.
