60th Anniversary of NASA's Michoud Assembly Plant

For more than 60 years, NASA's Michoud Assembly Plant in New Orleans has built all of NASA's manned space vehicles, including NASA's Space Launch System, which is used in NASA's Artemis Moon mission. With the launch of Artemis I imminent, Michoud pays tribute to all the employees who have worked tirelessly to advance NASA's space exploration missions over the past 6 years. The unmanned Artemis 1 mission was the first launch of NASA's SLS and Orion spacecraft as an integrated system.
