The fabulous Phyllis Diller the original punk from about 1963 when I was a mid-teen!!! The world had never seen anything like it before!!! What insanity is commonplace today was unknown when she began!!! She started the trend more or less!!!
She is the most important woman of the last

Humor is borne of pain and anger.
Now you know why some of us are so dang funny.

I truly believe that she hit it on the head (what it takes to create comedy). Without some kind of aggravating force in one’s life, it’s kind of hard to find humor in anything. everything would be just mundane and most likely pretty boring.

She knows better than anyone, as she bases her whole life on turning tragedy into comedy. She is always hard on her image and eventually got plastic surgery to fix her nose. She thought she looked like an electrocuted egrit!
