Solving 'impossible' integrals in seconds

Aren’t these like...board level questions? I mean, I’d be surprised if I saw more than one of these in JEE Mains or even a single one in Advanced.

in many Asian countries, Viet Nam, Korea, Chinese, all the high school pupils learn how to solve this problem. The only problem is that this kind of math can not help them to be a good student in the future. I had learned all of them 20 years ago, and I never use them again. even so far I am a Ph.D. in computer science in Germany. Therefore, I do not waste your time on them, except in case you should solve them for the exam in order to get a slot in Uni.

For those asking why the limits of integration have flipped in 5:18
It's because in lower limit, _x=a._ Since _u=a+b-x, _ replacing _x_ to _a_ means that _u=b_ in lower limit. The process is similar for the upper limit; thus, _u=a_ in upper limit.

Visually, f(a + b - x) is the horizontal mirror image of f(x) over the interval (a;b).

For those who are confused at 5:18 why did the limits changed?
When we change the variables (i.e. from x to u) we also have to change variables i.e. upper limit for x is b but we're substituting u=a+b-x so when we put x=b in u=a+b-x it becomes u=a+b-b so b cancels out and upper limit converts to a and in same way x=a in lower limit converts to b
