Fr. Mike Schmitz is perfectly placed for the demographic he serves. That said, some of us are served better by a quieter, calmer delivery, and Fr. Mark-Mary is the perfect balm for (our/my) world-weary nerves. What a blessing he is! And at the end of the day, aren’t we all working toward the same end? Salvation by knowing and loving the God who loves us?

I imagine Fr Mike (bless him) has to say a lot of humility prayers. I remember in his interview with Fradd (a year or two ago?) he admitted that his spiritual director said to him "You would be amazed at how quickly you will be forgotten once you're gone."
Bless Father Mark-Mary too. Different priests, different gifts, different tools for the Holy Spirit.
