Eve does love Lucifer and cares about him but she was only expecting from him to be the person he used to be. I get it Chloe was going to kill Kim but she didn’t right she chose to believe in her partner and also she makes him better . You guys know how eve loved lucifer so much? How do you know detective didn’t like him as much, I know you might say she didn’t accept him, But she was just a “normal” human, Eve was a woman for years, She isn’t just a human from her age. She actually lived with lucifer, Love ends sometimes, But detective was in his path, and had a lot more “for him” things in her, Like seeing him for what he is, Even if that means he’s the devil :)

I don't like either romance tbh, Decker is always trying to change Lucifer, while Eve is trying to make him into his old (bad) self. I think it would be more meaningful if Lucifer were to change on his own, not because of Decker, or Eve for that matter. While that might be the case, I still think a big part of it has to be because of Decker.
Also the show has very little to do with the comics. Just give us Maze x Lucifer, we all know that is the only ship that really counts.
