I'm calling it now, multiverse portals will be the MMO's explanation for timed events

Multiverses seem to have a tendency to trivialize things that happen in lore, and often just lead to flat out terrible writing. It seems fine how it was used here, but I hope League doesn't plan to incorporate multiverse concepts very much.

You know what I wish this game had? A way to watch your own gameplay without all the rewinds. So you can rewatch yourself play the hardest bossfights and platform sections essentially perfectly on the first try :D

I still cant belive they put a note about fiddlesticks and 2 other demons in convergence, they put it in mageseeker because his in demacia but convergence had me hiped and if they put something about him in song of nunu they are preparing something for him in the future

The game is great, and I also consider it replayable. I love Ekko, so I appreciated the in-depth exploration of the character. The only downside is the longevity, it would have been nice to have a few more chapters or at least a New Game Plus mode.

I really don't want the whole multiverse thing to happen. I very much preferred self-contained narratives. I hope all these skin-line references stay as such and don't actually go hard on the idea.

You mean Metroidvania right? But didn't expect for it to be a metroidvania kind of game which sounds good, haven't watch TB Skyen's playthrough yet.

While I think it's neat, these multiversal events should be one of the very rare and with very little and contained participation with the other universes, because it risks breaking the fantasy of each of their particular universes. Fun in theory, but it's too easy to kill the mood if they're poorly implemented.

That said, since the story 'Lullaby' I've been waiting for Echo to have a nice well deserved ending where he live a happy life with his parents.

Two issues I have with Convergence are: First the Ctrl, you have to press it every fricking time to grab the line, even after using the rewind to go back, just to die again because I have to press that dumb button again. Even with rebind to another more suitable button, it still wasn't easy. Secondly, the respawn mechanic. After you die, none of the rewind charge will be refill which can lead to some very annoying moment where you respawn it 1 health, no rewind while enemies are all over you. Not to mention an insane amount of explovise enemies midgame, even with undodgable missile

For the controls, i think that you can bind the shift key to both parkour and dodge and it is more easier that way

yeah i think this game is designed for controller. time freeze, rewind, parkour, and dash are all bound to the shoulder buttons and jump, dodge, timewinder, and attack are all face buttons so I never had any issue with controls

8:50 I have different opinion on a story. SPOILERS AHEAD
It is light like from a superhero comicbook, but there is one major issue in it. Camille. In lore, she is definitely a villainous character. Someone who uses brutal force to exterminate people who pose threat to her clan status or try from Zaun to climb social ladder to echelons of Piltover. And as a piltie she would not care about conditions people of Zaun have to deal with, so her involvement in story on the side of our protagonist feels wrong. Heck, I refuse t believe a literal assasin of Piltover who is all about precision would fail to kill our Ekko in combat. She is way too fast and precise. Our boy would be dead before he realises the attack is comming and tries to rewind time. Not to mention, she would do anything that would benefit her clan the most. And Ekko stupidly invites her into his hideout (of course it would take her less then a day to track down everyone he cares about and have a trump card for blackmail). At the end what happens there? She finds out Future Ekko's hidden room where all his journals and plans are laid out. I am sure Camile would try to use it for later and let her Ferros clan make own groundbreaking and original invention of time-travel our protagonist filled with child's hope already made for them to -steal- use.

Metroidvania I think is what you meant my good dude.

Warwick and Jinx were clearly in this game only because they're popular and make for fun boss fights. Also, I don't like how they turned Camille into a good person. She should have been an antagonist and her role in the story has Caitlyn written all over it. It also feels weird how the story is pushing the "Piltover ain't so bad" idea, especially after Arcane.

For really tough experience one can equip a gadget called "Cog slicer" (I think). It increases enemy dmg and health.
It made every fight much harder to do f.e. some crabs that explode after a second near you have so much hp you can't eliminate them with your combo before explosion (you need slow sphere). Not to mention it made bossfights much more challenging.
What's more, Ekko's kit is OP.
There is an infinite stunlock combo that requires 1 1 slot gadget and charged attack: Temporal pulse(-1zerodrive)>charged attack(+1rewind)>rewind
This combo stunlocks one of the bosses for the whole fight. Speedrunners are gonna have fun.

2 bangers in a row... hopefully the same will go for the nunu game

Well multiverse is cool until you remember that there is Empyrean Pyke who's ripping universe just to find another version of himself to kill.

So about there being another Ekko. The game does confirm there was a Third Ekko that had come to the games timeline. Within the letters there's three specific ones (Where Am I?, When Am I?, and Who Am I??). The first two are from Future Ekko, but the third letter is from an completely different Ekko. The third mentions seeing two other Ekko's running around one being around his age and another much older.

So it's possible this other Ekko helped out Future Ekko. But it's also possible that current Ekko figures out how to travel further in time much sooner than he did as Future Ekko. Maybe within a few years.
