The good thing about the 90s is that you could be the lead singer of a super band, perform in front of tens of thousands and dress like you're going to the hardware store.

Possibly the best live band I ever saw. I went to see them with my eldest brother at Roundhay Park, Leeds on the Friday, then we went down to Knebworth (without tickets) to see them again on the Sunday. Walking from the car to the gig (through the farmers field/car park) the excitement grew as we could hear the support music in the distance. Walking towards us was a sharply dressed gentleman who asked if anyone needed a ticket. I said yes and he gave me his because he had received an urgent call and had to rush off. I offered to pay him for it but he refused to take anything. When I listen to Genesis, I often wonder if everything turned out ok for him and if he ever did get the chance to see them some other time. I do hope so! Watching this again gave me goosebumps and was emotional at times. Great memories of an amazing few days at a time in my life when things were great. Thanks for uploading.

I was there. What a gig! Still one of my all time favourites. Especially that old medley pure gold. These guys are legends and deserve respect.

WOW....Knebworth concerts are always great, this one is truly exceptional. Back when everyone enjoyed the atmosphere without phones in hands.
Genesis at their very best. 💞🌸💞

I saw this concert in Hannover, Germany in 1992. Absolutely amazing evening, I didn’t want it to end. Hard to believe it was nearly 30 years ago.

Listened to this live on Radio One on that lovely hot summer night back in 1992. Great memories!

I was a young 17 yr old when I saw genesis on this tour at Leeds. The sound just blew me away . I can’t believe how fast time flies, seems like yesterday .
For me it’s the best concert I’ve ever seen, as a drummer myself I’ve learnt tons from Phil and Chester.
All brilliant musicians, sad to see a frail Phil these days. Keep fighting Phil!!!

I saw them at Hockenheimring. The concert started about 1, 5 hours later. So I missed the last train to get home. So I asked someone to take me by car nearly to my hometown. I arrived at half past two fifty Kilometers away at a railway-station and hat to wait four hours for the first train home. Such great memories.

Myself & the wife were at the Edinburgh Playhouse, October 92 for Genesis. A one-off gig. Great seats because I queued for over 24 hours for tickets. My daughter was at that in my wifes belly, 8 months pregnant. She's 29 this year and I always say to her, "You've been to a genesis gig!" (rolls her eyes)
But same set list and THIS medley at the Playhouse was spectacular.

This concert was the peak. Fading lights was their requiem. What came after was nice in a fan service kind of way. But this was the last time Phil really enjoyed it and performed as an entertainer.
