Hollywood could never have come up with this level of amazing editing. This hands down is how you promote a movie. This was a tribute like no other !!! Just amazing !!!

I was an emotional wreck after watching Top Gun Maverick this year. My father passed away in April, I came home to find him already gone. Nothing I could do to save him. He enjoyed Top Gun, and for reasons you can assume I was pretty emotional through the whole movie. Love the culture of these films and the true meaning of American pride and love on display behind the screen too. Great effort and work went into these films and i'm glad I was alive to see them both. Miss you pops, wish you were here.

I still remember the day the first Top Gun Maverick trailer dropped. Thursday, July 18th, 2018. I was in a pub in Portland, randomly wearing a t-shirt with Maverick's Kawasaki Ninja on it. I was ecstatic!
Then came the delay.
Then another.
And another.
And another.
I jokingly said I would die before this movie came out. Then on June 22nd, 2021, I was hit and nearly killed by a DUI driver who ran a red light while I crossed the street.
Recovery has been difficult, but I made it.
When the movie debuted I was there, opening night, wearing my aviators and leather Maverick bomber jacket cosplay.
I basically cried tears of happiness throughout the whole movie.

I've now seen the movie 5 times in theaters and countless more at home.
Thanks for making this amazing tribute.

I joined the USN a year before this movie came out.
Top Gun was OUR movie.
Me and my shipmates watched it every night on the mess deck before lights out at 2200...
We enjoyed popcorn and ice cream too.
We are all brothers to this day,
every year at our reunions,
but sadly there are fewer of us now 35 yrs later.
Hand salute to my USN brothers.

Maverick and Top Gun always made me proud to be an American and proud of the military. I could never serve because I am blind as a bat. My uncle was a helicopter pilot that was killed in an accident in Germany. I also have two nephews who served. I hope a lot of things change in the next two years because those in power now are only helping our enemies, not us.

Am not ashamed to admit it, this bought tears to the eye. So very well done and captured the spirit of everything that is and always will be Top Gun. This movie and its soundtrack I'm sure mean different things to many people besides just a movie/movies. I'm no exception, so every time I watch the movie or hear a song from the soundtrack, the memories as to why it's significant to me hurt and always bring me to tears.

This is the best tribute to Top Gun. I watched Top Gun Maverick with my dad. We both liked the first Top Gun movie, but had our doubts about this movie being an "unnecessary sequel". When we saw Maverick though, we were blown away.
