2. She looks VERY MUCH like the former royal family. Coincidentally the youngest princess of the royal family had gone missing when the royal family was eliminated. Reinhardt concluded that felt is likely the princess and wants her to get the throne that is rightfully hers.

The royalty were all but destroyed except for 1 that was abducted. which coincides the age of felt. and also felt's distinct yellow hair and red eyes is exactly the traits of the said dead line of royalty. Something that I really like about Re:Zero is that Subaru is not the MC of this world but yet his actions do matter in a very important way, even though he will not be recognized for them by others. He’s a piece of the puzzle that is helping this world become a better place.

It was due to his actions that Reinhart found Felt. It was due to his actions that Emilia is alive multiple times. And even the villagers as well.

But most importantly, it’s because of all this that he’s improving as a person. He’s actually becoming the unsung hero of the larger story, with only us as those who are aware of what he has been through.

That is my hypothesis.

Also, when Lye Batenkaitos (I think so) tried to eat her name, he vomited. That would prove that "Felt" is not her true name.
