I’m a 45 female, that loved Wham with my whole 12 year old body. But my mum looked after an exhibition centre. So I got balcony tickets, with my 11 year old best best friend. George and Andrew were 2 hours late. Girls were getting pulled out the crowd as they’d fainted.

So late that my mum took George and Andrew to their hotel in Edinburgh. George and Andrews let my mum take them to their hotel. And they asked my mum in for a drink. And I sat on George’s knee, and he was amazing. Andrew got the bill but mum put it on expenses.. you were amazing, both of you. I was 11, and Wham posters were on my ceiling, but Andrew was so kind, I had like an instant camera. You guys were my teenage life dream come true xx

Just discovered this mix just this second when I was searching for the extended mix I heard on defunct WBLZ back when. This reflex mix is totally making my day!! Wow! That guy was totally one of my all-time favorite singers. How blessed we are for him, this mix, this poster, this website, the internet, my phone. The world (and my ‘80’s) needed GM. Thank you, God. It hurts that he left us.

What makes a good remix is not adding or taking anything away, just shuffling it around. Iv always wanted to hear the bass and drums isolated mixed in and there were moments for it, isolating the drums, vocals, bass, rhythm, and mix and matching just made for a funky and addicting remix

Had the pleasure of listening to George, Andrew and the rest before they were famous, at the end of my road outside a neighbours house on a Sunday afternoon just 6 mates jamming . Only about 10 at the time and even then the voice was amazing. RIP my man
