One thing I did when I bought manga I saw if it cool art or a hot waifu. I'm glad I stopped, I look at the anime first and see if it's good then consider buying the manga

For me, beginner series are short(ish), easy to collect. I think Dragon Ball is a great shout with Tokyo Ghoul. Also things like Akira, Death Note, and Another. All small sets you can collect in little time.

I found this video very informative, Dr.Sage. I found it really fascinating that when you suggested what type of series for beginners to get into, you suggested the smaller series instead of the bigger ones. Not very many people take that in to account, from what I have seen. Even though I have been collecting and reading for 2 years now, I still found it helpful! 😁
