Honda 0 Series (2026) Full Details

Honda announced the “Honda 0 (zero) Series,” a new global EV series launching in 2026, represented by the world premiere of two concept models, Saloon and Space-Hub, at CES 2024. In 2026, Honda will introduce a model of the Honda 0 Series based on the Saloon concept in North America, followed by model introductions in Japan, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East and South America.

In the 80s and 90s every company was making wedge shaped sports cars, this looks like that but hopefully it's more aerodynamic because those cars were not wind tunnel tested, only the big mass production manufacturers could afford that.
Lamborghini Countach for example has a drag coeff of 0.42 it was aerodynamic as a modern truck

Too bad they didn't have a 4-seater EV prioritized on commuter use. Notice in the presentation they promise light but no where did I see (or in the comments read) an estimate of the weight.

Honestly I've been only buying honda for the past 5 years, but the new models don't have the mirror camera. I was hoping they would bring them back, because upgrading to a new model just feels like downgrading. They look very cool, but without a nice panoramic rooftop and a mirror camera, I'm not sure why I would buy one. Also the screen glitches a lot. It's not as smooth as a phone. I still need to connect a wire to connect my android auto. Which is a strange thing. I was told the newer models are wireless, but I'm not sure it will be effective with the current os. I don't think we're short of technology in these departments. I hope they address these issues.

Lower and wider sounds great until you try to shoehorn the car into a parking space! Car parks are trying to increase revenues by squeezing more, narrower slots into each car park. have Honda thought about that?

Back to the future… I always like the design concepts from the 80s & 90s but instead we got jellybean looking vehicles everywhere shaped by aerodynamics.
