Daniel, your little boy is growing up.Used to be when they were swimming, your job was to keep an eye on them, and now you are fishing while they are out there jumping off the tower. Houston can bait his own hook and take the fish off. He is depending on you less and less.Soon you will come home and he will tell you about the fish he caught that day. You're doing a fine job.

When I was younger, we used to go Out on Lake Okeechobee a with 6' cane poles and little white jigs with red head and catch what we called Speckled perch by the hundreds with my Grandfather, father and 3 brothers

I love watching these videos, it reminds me of my childhood. Every year in my dad would call my out of school and we would catch buckets of white bass( sand bass)? I loved every minute of it..
This year I'm going to take my dad fishing along with my grown boy's.

I've caught white (aka sand) bass and filleted them and soaked them in the fridge overnight in salt water. They tasted as good as any flounder I've ever had.
