Robert, this song is worthy of a Grammy award. It speaks of the sadness and loss of so many whose fathers divorced their mothers and left them when they were children. It always brings tears to my eyes!

After I purchased Texas Piano Man after one of his concerts, and I heard this song... I was speechless. Just mind-blowingly good. Great lyrics, great instrumentation and very emotional and heartfelt. I highly recommend that album and highly recommend seeing him live.
