Everon - North

This is Everon's 2008, and last CD release, North.

Yes, this is not a vinyl release as this album does not exist on vinyl. The reason I am uploading it is that Everon is an almost completely unknown gem of a band who released some absolute diamonds in a relative short period from the late 90s to early 2000's. This is my attempt to garner them a few new fans.

I have taken the liberty to respectfully remaster the original release slightly, adding some clarity to it.

All their albums are awesome. This one, Flesh and Bridge are my favourites, but I listen to all of them routinely. Great band!

Just met those guys... Shame on me, Never have heard before. Excellent band, reminds me the style of Phoenix Effect. - high quality progressive rock!
"Islanders" is just a pearl of the album!

What did you do to edit the audio? EQing? Compression? (Un-compression?)

Edit: I see you're a fellow detractor of the loudness wars. To that end, if you don't already use "perfect declipper, " you should look into it. I've had some _massive_ successes restoring dynamics to tracks, going from DR (dynamic range) scores of 5 or 6 to 10, 11 or 12, just by the program algorithmically restoring the cut-off peaks, returning the drum hits and piano plunks and tinkles to their original glory—or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof.

On a good sound system you can hear all the instruments properly. Phone speakers don't do it justice.
