I usually put the glass globes in the dishwasher. It works out great.

Furniture polish on the blades so it's easier to clean next time. Little bit of silicone oil on the metal, and vaseline on the glass rim so the screws dont get stuck on the glass.

You did a fabulous job! I would have put the glass globes in my dishwasher and turned off the heat dry. I let my dishwasher do the work. I wash as much as possible in my dishwasher. I even remove the top rack for large items.

I unscrew the fan blades and give them a good scrub with dawn, vinegar, and hot water. Do not soak them lol
I do this because the elbow grease might tilt the fan too much and cause damage.

My stepmom didnt clean the ceiling fans and we had one above our dining room table, my dad turned it on one day while I was eating and a dead fly fell into my cereal. I make it my absolute business to clean mine now.

I’ve also put glass fixture covers like that through the dishwasher with good results. Wouldn’t do it with fancy glass with foil or other inlays but a plain or fogged glass like these fare well.

My fans get like this in about 3 months. I also put my globes in the dishwasher. It works great.

I’m sorry but the room your in look exactly like my grandmas house white slightly spatially popcorn sealing and the type of light bulbs even the sink also great job!

The fan closest to my kitchen gets sticky like this. I have to scrub it down about once a month so it doesn’t get terrible! Not the most fun job, let me tell ya. 😒
