Radioactive roads? Florida has yet to submit application to EPA to start testing

It appears no steps have been taken to begin testing whether slightly radioactive waste from fertilizer production can be repurposed for Florida road construction projects.

Gov. Ron DeSantis in June signed a law directing Florida’s Department of Transportation to study phosphogypsum — the byproduct from the state’s booming fertilizer industry — as a viable ingredient in road construction.

Lets pave the driveways of the people who approve the use of fossil gypsum first

Just make the roads out of depleted uranium. No more potholes 🤣

Driving on the road as a finished product is not the problem.. the problem would be creating the road and what gases and or radioactivity are released during construction and how that release affects the people and environment.
It's worth the study, and if can be used safely, it is better than being in a landfill.
My 2 cents
