The only reason Roman Gabriel was in the game was because starter Ron Jaworski was injured. I believe he only came in for that one play, and Jaws returned for the next series.

He was nice. I didn't know his back story. Vince Papale is the greatest underdog story in the NFL in my opinion. Of course I'm biased though. 🤷🏿‍♂️
