Alternative medicines like acupuncture, reiki, naturopathy, and homeopathy, once considered quackery, now pose a threat to academia as alternative medicine has been debunked as an ineffective form of treatment.

The National Institutes of Health’s National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health fund dubious medical studies and unconventional dubious medical practices, like alternative medicine and complementary medicine that cost billions. These practices can end up costing lives. Alternative medicine and complementary medicine are debunked forms of pseudoscience with no backing in science.

A Phycochemist studies the chemical make up/compounds of a plant. If they find a compound in the plant with medicinal value, they show this compound to a pharmacologist. The Pharmacologist synthetically recreates the compound shown to them. After synthetically recreating this compound they add to or tweak this compound and create a pharmaceutical medicine. Not all pharmaceutical drugs have compounds that come from plants, however a lot of them do. Considering this information how can one possibly dispute the medicinal properties of an herb. The shoe fits the other foot too, how can an herbalist claim that pharmaceutical drugs do not work when it contains the same compound that is in their herb.

Now I have a cuestion. If his "super true and accurate" medicine is so irrefutable, why does he look so pitiful and un healthy? Such a sad guy.

Maybe if this guy saw a good alternative medicine doctor they could help him eat right and exercise so he's not out of breath and can actually talk.

While there are some alternative medicine doctors who practice quackery and do it for the wrong reasons (money), there are also some that have helped people tremendously with issues they haven't gotten help with from conventional western medicine.

I read an article by this guy bashing antivaxxers. It's comical to see a socially awkwarder criticize normal people. It's also remarkable that he keeps himself so composed here --- because the degree to which he suffers from social awkwardness is really revealed in his one-on-one interviews.
