Remember Pictochat on the Nintendo DS?

Ah yes, Pictochat. The best way to text your friends (that are in the same room) before you had a cell phone. Who else misses this?

Edit: I may be wrong but I think the reason why they wouldn't add picochat to 3ds or switch due to safety reasons for kids like child predators

I had one particularly interesting experience with pictochat, I was young and on a plane for an extended period of time, my mom was tired of playing big brain academy so I just went onto pictochat to mess around. Hilariously, there were at least a couple of people with the same idea, and we had a lovely chat and played mario kart I believe. Good times

I remember the field trips in 3rd grade everyone was using pictochat this makes me feel old

When my class went out on a school trip with the entire school, we had to be set at different places on a coach. Most of us were middle/back end seated but one classmate had severe carsickness (or bus sickness in this case) and had to be seated near the front. We all spoke to each other on our DS consoles via pictochat from our different seats. The funniest part is we started cussing each other out on there and jokingly swearing as well as drawing rude pictures and the teachers never knew anything 😂

You Literally the exact thing I would do my own As a kid to draw occasionally. I would draw it entirely black, then send it so you could always copy it back to draw on again and again.
