Houston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook receives a standing ovation from the Oklahoma City Thunder fans in his first game back in OKC since being traded. Westbrook would then go on to score 34 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Rockets fall to the Thunder 113-92.

Championships aren't everything, the NBA season is long, and Westbrook gave Oklahoma City a decade of fun basketball to watch.

And honestly, I would rather have a decade of good TV than have the bragging rights that a team I watch won something. The last 10 years of OKC basketball have been incredibly crazy and full of more big names than 90% of teams will ever see.

But hey, if you love rings more than you love basketball, maybe OKC and Russell Westbrook aren't your style. That's fine.
