and why did it take best part of 5 years, feel for the families, can understand in some cases where mistakes have been made, but when its like this case 100% then no excuses

I've never visited the US. Where I live juries only decide guilt or innocence, never the sentence. That's for the Law and the judge only.

I know that to many this will sound bonkers, but the death sentence is usually quick and painless and thus humane. I think life with absolutely no parole is what is unacceptably cruel.

I feel the nation has the right to take life but not hope. And I repeat I am totally unable to defend that view logically.

There wasn't only one holdout. 3 voted for life. Only one vote for life was inaccurately reported right after the verdict.

if the governor cared about the students here he would stand up against assualt weapons instead of opposing the ban. his incompetence at protecting our students is never more evident than his reaction of being pro assualt weapons. there is a reason he’s called deathsantis
