Before anyone says "Its beacause of all the food that was left out!" Their natural envorment is eating leaves off the forrest floor. They can and absolutely will subsist off of paper and cardboard. Even the cleanest home is not safe from cockroaches.

Also i think Bea will appreciate the fact that in spanish we call them cucas.

Hearing the traumas that some of these people have, it actually makes me feel better, in a way. I've had 7 loved ones die in the past 5 years, had major surgery, survived assault and had to advocate for my gravely ill mother for two months last year until she recovered. So I don't feel as bad about my losing battle this past winter with the gritty dust that came in from the highway....I will grant myself the grace that this excellent person does to those she helps and I will try to apply myself to fixing it as best I can, and asking for help if I need it. Loving yourself and others is the best way. And when I tackle the squalour of my own home I promise my self I will help others.
