I really missed hiking and decided to make my first trip to the old dugout. The weather these two days was simply magnificent. It rained the first day, and in the late afternoon it began to snow....

Oh my goodness! A special treat this Saturday morning - a video from Alex. So very glad you made it out to the old dugout. You have likely had a bad case of "cabin fever"....anxious to get up, out, and about after being stuck indoors for a bit. I do hope you are pacing yourself and will continue to give your body time to heal. You were on my mind just a few days ago so I put a comment on the post you made when you became ill. Here's hoping and praying that your health will continue to improve and you will steadily regain all of your strength in the days and weeks ahead. Spring is almost here and Summer will quickly follow. It was nice to see the beautiful snow in your video. We've had a mild winter here where I live.

It has been a long, hard winter for us all. Thank GOD we are still here to see the Spring coming . Nature knows how to rejuvenate itself, if careless man will let her. Your illness was/is not a failure, so you couldn't/can't let anyone "down" for taking care of yourself. Thank you for doing so! Of course, we've missed you. But that is not out of judgement but rather genuine concern for your well being.
