Small correction in the description. JSL stands for Job Specification Language...not Job Scheduling Language. There is no scheduling in this JSR.

Are there any manner of using the jbacth in the jee 1.5 or 1.6? Your API is independent of core the jee 1.7? Simply, is only one .jar for interfaces/implementation?

It's not...but "job scheduling language" is...and there is no such thing as a "job scheduling language" in the spec.
