MY BROTHER DAVE, SHOWS THE LOG-RAMP/WINCH SETUP IN OPERATION, AND IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE VID DOES A LONG DE-BARKING TIMELAPSE. A FEW OF YOU ASKED TO SEE THE WINCH DOING IT'S THING. WE HAVE TO PUT A LONGER CONTROL CORD ON THE WINCH, SO THAT THE OPERATOR IS FARTHER AWAY FROM THE CABLE. IT'S ON THE (LONG) TO-DO LIST, AMONGST OTHER THINGS. THANKS FOR TAKING A GANDER! -ANDY

Your vids are getting much better! It takes all most as much work to do a good videos as milling. Good to see some one work so hard to do both . most would say it's cutting production. My hat off to you

Your log ramp and deck is very well designed. And that's a huge log by any standard. Lots of prep-work before the blade even touches it.

I don't know why you were out of breath when you were de-barking the log; I watched the whole thing and I wasn't out of breath. I'll bet that your brother wasn't out of breath while he was editing the video either.
Good video, Dave.

Isn’t there someway you could configure that winch to turn the logs on your saw. It would save you a lot of back work. Stay safe God bless. 🇨🇦✌️

Awesome logs, how many of those do get on a truck load ? The only place I’ve seen trees of that size is the Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC happy sawing
