Holbein Acryla Gouache • First Impressions & Review

I’ve always wanted to try gouache — so I got a few of the Holbein Acryla Gouache paints. I know, I know — they aren’t gouache, they’re acrylic, but what can I say? I’m a rebel.

Ugh thank you SO MUCH for this, can't believe how hard it was to find this information online, considering this paint is so popular! I guess it's more popular among the young social media crowd that just posts it on instagram or makes prints and merch with it. No one seems to care about lightfastness. I'm so glad I finally found this video, been searching for weeks, I did find one that did a window test and a blog but I needed to see a video and explanation! thanks again

Look forward to seeing what you paint with these. I have the Holbein water based gouache which is really nice but it reactivates very easily so I look forward to hearing how these work, given that they’re permanent

I can't wait to see what you are gonna paint with these. Holbein is so expensive over here, but heard good things about their paints. The intensity of the colours look great.

Pretty cool! I had the problem of my gouache paints have quite the color change when they dried. Does this happen to the Holbein ones too? Can't wait to see your paintings :)

OH MAN that opening scared me LOL I was about to be like "Gurl nuuu that ain't gouache!" x''D (I hate that they named it that @_@) Love that blue though, can't wait to see what you do with these :D
