Wow, can’t wait for this to come to Australia. Cancelled my BYD Shark 6 order when LDV listed this on their website. Glad I did now after watching this video. This is definitely more premium than the shark 6 and seems like performance will be better. Plus the massive front boot is an awesome! Great presentation by you as well!

Maxus is apparently selling their commercial vehicles in Romania, which include the e-Terron 9. I can’t wait to see one in person, whether in the UK or when I go to Romania.

I live in NZ and months ago I was intrigued to know a 'midgate' was available for this vehicle. This idea is bigger than most people realize at this point. I have owned a wildtrak for a few years, and it has been fine, but the ability to stow longer loads than 1.5m with the tail gate up, will be a game changer for me, and my business! ( P.S. still waiting for it to arrive at this stage).

At €60k ex VAT both Landrover and Ford want to look out as this could steal their farm utility market. I had to laugh when urban performance was mentioned because I can not see why anyone city slicker or Chelsea school mum would drive such a thing. Finding somewhere to park it in town could be a challenge. Over 3 tonnes of towing capacity is impressive so could tow sheep or cattle to market. While there must be a market for this for farms, construction, or forestry, there is also a market for something smaller which can do off road - say the latest Suzuki E Vitara.

BIG step up from the tragic T90. 3500kg towing capacity is solid, specs look good too. Definitely needed a 1t bed capacity and can't help but wonder whether 102kWh will be enough in something with the aerodynamics of a shed and the weight of a dark star...but it's compelling

It might be interesting to look under the car to see which parts are exposed and whether you have used armored cable and protected the power distributor.😊

Those rear seats lifted like it had a mid-gate. Saw mid-gate on listing's 7 months ago. So is there a mid-gate

I would rather see these replace all the Ford Ranger biturbos on the road, but that still doesn't fix the problem of all these pickup toys for boys that happen to be the company car.

Agree about charging point. Is it too well finished for a workhorse? The price puts it above the ev9 but has a lot going for it. Outside my bank balance.

God the response time on all of the menu functionality is enough to put me off, is the processor recycled from old PlayStations? Apart from that I quite like it. I'd debadge it immediately

115 kwh (peak) charging is pretty slow for a battery that big.
