watched this 12 months ago and tried the method by putting a long branch underneath some soil next to it and holding down with a brick. 1 year later i have a new plant! thanks so much

Good video. Helpful to know what medium you used for them. I’m wondering how it turned out. I’d have had my cuttings slightly shorter and would have put them a couple of nodes deep into the medium—yours seemed kind of shallowly struck. So let us know please if it worked, I’m trying all kinds of things. Lastly, and I’m sorry if I’m picking at you here but it helps, after you’ve dipped into hormone powder, to use a pencil or bamboo stake to make a hole for your cutting. Then when you pop it into the medium the powder won’t rub off as it’s pushed down into the hole. This is something some others doing this have mentioned. I don’t necessarily know if euonymus even needs the powder and think I’ll try some with, some without, mark them accordingly and see if it helps. Thanks again and hopefully you’ve posted a follow-up so we can learn from successes and failures of fellow gardeners.

Do you know of anyone that has chickens with these shrubs? I wonder if it would work well for them for shade and protection to run to from hawks
