This video has helped me whenever I got stuck but I won't lie I'm a little disappointed in the course. I chose Linux Fundamental to start and get the basics but some of the questions go straight into having to use tools or navigation that weren't mentioned in the first place.

Hack the Box Linux Fundamentals really frustrated me. I just finished the page where they ask me for the shell version and machine name, but half of the questions dealt with navigation and specific technical stuff that NO beginner would ever know. It’s more like an intern level course.
Should’ve walked us through each command and file directory first.

i love hack the box... I know i am newbie in cybersecurity and pentesting and i know that I will have to study a lot to start understanding something and that I started late ... but a basic course on linux or one who has never opened it as he can in a module get to understand these commands without a solution, I challenge anyone starting from scratch to get even halfway without this video, I think we need a lighter start to get to this slowly. if this is tier 0 what will there be later? Xd

If I don't set the command (2/dev/null) I can't get the proper output because it asks for the user's password.

Does anyone know why when I try to ssh to the target I continue to get a connection timed out prompt in the terminal? I have great wifi in my house so im very confused. I never had a problem using the htb instance until this challenge. Thank you in advance to anyone that could help rectify this situation.

I do t understand why if someone can help but when i go to put in the password it just stays blank. Like when you ssh and it asks for password after you write yes. In your video it shows abc like 3 times not sure what is wrong there

ther is somthing f***ed up cze the answers and the terminal result dosn't much, i mean like the .log file no. is 138 for me but here it says 32 and 32 is the answer in both
