Infinity Nikki is a free-to-play adventure game with dress-up elements developed and published by Papergames (with publishing outside mainland China under Infold Games), which released for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, and Microsoft Windows on 5 December 2024. It is the fifth installment in the Nikki series and a sequel to Shining Nikki. The game features open world exploration, platforming, and puzzle-solving.

This is a full run of the game from version 1.0. I showcase all main missions, story bosses and cutscenes and do some exploring. Grinding and off screen farming as well as gathering materials have been removed. It was too much excess footage and a waste of time. This longplay focuses on the main story and that's it. It should be mentioned that the story so far (and which was completed) in Infinity Nikki is from Wishfield, which is a small region in Miraland. There is much more of Miraland than Wishfield and I am looking forward in the coming months to see other regions.

I played Infinity Nikki for several days on the PC using the keyboard and mouse and found it quite ackward in moving Nikki around the world. It was not until I used a PC-compatible controller that I felt more comfortable in playing. For a game like this, playing with a controller seem the to be ideal way.

The story from Wishfield is just one of many stories from Infinity Nikki, as there will be more that will be unlocked in the coming months as there are other nations that Nikki and Momo will travel to. As of this writing, players are still in Wishfield. It should also be mentioned that the Wishful Aurosa outfit requires materials that can only obtain by defeating each Sovereign in Wishfield, so other than completing the quest-related Stylist Challenges, players must defeat every stylist connected to the various stylist factions. Also, some materials require undergoing several Realm challenges.

The environment at the start reminds me of Farum Azula from Elden Ring but starring a mode changing Magical Girl who could be an extra in a Kingdom Hearts game along with her animal companion who looks like a hooded moogle.

I started playing this and for a free game, it’s very well designed. The puzzles are simple enough for a relaxed gaming experience. Found myself playing this for 4 hours after work yesterday. Hated that freaking brushie bullying the croakers 😂 just hope they don’t turn this into a pay to play, where you only get the awesome dresses by purchasing gems.
