Nomzamo Mbatha on Why She's an Earthshot Prize Ambassador

Показать описание
"So many sentimental moments to speak about, oh God, common purpose and the Earthshot Prize flying in 120 young people from around the world who are climate global leaders, to be a part of the conversation, to have access to resources and tools and workshops and master classes so that they can be able to build up and stand up and what they've been part of the final 15. Who knows, right? And then, of course, just the sentiments of His Royal Highness and how involved, and how galvanized it was, seeing young people be a part of the the Earthshot Prize. And of course, for me, what's important to it is also tonight. Tonight is actually important because the 15 founders have worked incredibly hard, and today, today, they need to find out their face and everyone says, you walk away a winner, still, even if you don't get well with the 1 million pound prize pot, is the value of a week like this, and all the mentorship and alignment in the network, the values in the networking, the values in the community, the values on Launchpad, which is what Earthshot Prize launched, where investors and those who are seeking investment can be able to kind of find each other on the app, right on the investment app. So for me, it's talking about the holistic approach when it comes to the Earthshot Prize. And for me, you know being being a co global ambassador with Robert Irwin is just such an absolute honor. And tonight, I'm also wearing a dress that was sustainably sourced, the fabric, color which was sustainably sourced and was from a 2023 finalist Colorifix. So you see that it's entire time membership and lifetime family association when it comes to the Earthshot Prize, and it all comes together. " - Nomzamo Mbatha, Earthshot Prize Ambassador, in Cape Town, South Africa.
