The Liverpool band Her’s have died while on tour in the US, their label have confirmed.

The duo, comprised of Stephen Fitzpatrick and Audun Laading, were travelling to a gig in Santa Ana, California on Wednesday when they were involved in a road accident. Both members and their tour manager, Trevor Engelbrektson, died in the incident.

I usually find an artist I really like, listen to all of their albums, and repeat the songs I love the most. But I’ve not done that with her’s for a specific reason. It’s feel wrong to listen to all of them so fast since… well, you know why.

But now I’ve tried listening to ITH, but I have to stop here, I’m about to start sobbing.

Their music is so filled with love and memories, that I can’t help but get really emotional.

Rest in peace, boys, you two were truly blessed.

I ignorantly used to think this song was about Stephen's mom not being appreciated by his dad. Turns out they renewed their vows before she passed. Someone else said that this song is most likely about the perspective of his dad talking about little Stephen and his wife that he loved very much. Gonna cry a little more now knowing this info.

I’ve spread listening to all of Her’s discography throughout nearly a year now. Final one, beautiful. Fitting end. I’ve been blessed and inspired to have been able listen and dance to Ste and Aud’s music. I’m actually taking up guitar in honor of them, and I hope I can make tunes even as good as half of what they accomplished. RIP Stephen and Audun. rip.
