r/place Brony Victory Anthem

Bronies aren't just the fans of a show. We're also people who believe in a higher idea. While of course there are some nasty exceptions, the large majority of us actually believe that friendship is magic. It's the friendliest fandom I've ever known.

A few notes for history. Yes, we did use bots. Lots of bots. Some of those were just "overlay" bots that reminded you where to click in order to make the pixel art work, but others were fully-automated. As far as I know there was never a rule against bots. (And if the admins wanted to ban bots, they could have easily just banned all accounts that were created after the new r/place was announced). But I know that some people consider it a form of cheating. I will say that it's easier to stick to a humans-only rule if you're not constantly getting attacked by streamers who think that your fandom specifically is weird and needs to be wiped out. And we *did* have lots of humans; I talked with these people on Discord.

Also, there were two Derpys at the end. The one along the right wall was ours, but the other one was not authorized by ManeChat. That other derpy was a late addition that erased the pre-existing artwork of a lot of small fandoms, and we don't approve of that.
