Nice work! Looks like you did it all with one hand!

My favorite bedding technique, from member ChuckB at KLR650.net: "Pad bed in....I think is one of the more important steps. I have a hill nearby that I like to use. I'll get the pads/rotor(s) heated up by lightly applying brakes heading over to the hill/road. I'll get up to 60 mph then apply moderate brake till the bike reaches 15mph. Release and continue riding down the hill. Turn at the bottom and head back up the hill. Next 3-4 trips down the hill I'll apply more and more lever pressure. The next 3-4 runs I'll run speeds up to 70 mph and apply threshold braking all the way down to 15mph. These last couple runs you can usually feel the pads bed in completely. Feel it thru the lever. Once satisfied I'll ride the bike for a good 15-20 min trying to avoid stopping or applying heavy brake to allow the brake system to cool down. Key to pad break in is to never stop during bed in process...never. Once the pads/rotor is cooled down you should see discoloration on the rotor...means you generated enough heat for proper pad material transfer to the rotor."

Good job! Thumbs up from Dublin (Ireland) ! :)

Honestly, the "semi-floating" brake rotor design, of which
EBC is an example, are time-tested, proven, and safe. They are very common on more expensive brake systems.

I bought a similar rotor (EBC SM6309C) and EM 320 bracket and cant get it to spin freely without the circular inner rotor washers (the silver washers between the brake grab area and the inner brass rotor hub) catching on the bracket. Granted the caliper was flushed of brake fluid and the caliper pistons were fully retracted to allow insertion of the rotor but I don't think that should make a difference. Did you have any issues like this during your install ??

I had to revert back to the stock rotor and bracket as I couldn't get it spinning freely without catching.
